Default Steering stabilizer question....

So I bought a new Quadratec steering stabilizer to replace my stock stabilizer because my OEM one has a decent dent in it due to wheeling. so I replace the shock and decide to take a run on the highway to make sure everything was ok and once I hit 40 mph I got death wobble like crazy, I have never had the problem before so I immediately went home and put the OEM stabilizer back on and presto! no wobble at all. So needless to say very confused....Thanks for any help...

Put the new one on again to see if it's repeatable.

I've had had problems running different stabilizers over the past couple years. I just don't use one anymore. They always give me a wobble or deathwobble.

Really ? I can see a SS either doing nothing (blown) or binding the steering from turning (bent or set incorrectly), not cause DW.

They do nothing to contribute to wobble. If anything they minimize shimmy and wobble.

What are the odds you installed it backwards? Mine is in the opposite direction from the oem stabilizer.
