Default steering stabilizer change with steel rims?

i just have the factory one in now. im adding 17x8 cragars 4.5 backspacing, 33" A/Ts, teraflex 2.5" coil lift w/springs. will i need to replace the steering stabilizer? thanks

Nope. The stock SS is perfectly fine. As a matter of fact, if your Jeep is set up and torqued properly, you don't need to run a stabilizer at all.


However, I would recommend relocating it up and out of the way, so it doesn't get bashed on anything. Cheap insurance. Woods has a great kit for it.

as mentioned, you'll be fine with your steering stabilizer. look for better things to spend your money on
