Steering Stabilizer
So, I've just gotten into the JK Wrangler world. I've put in my new tires and went for my first off road ride this weekend I noticed that I kept getting kick back while I was wandering around. From what I've heard I need a steering stabilizer. Does anyone know about these... what type should I get, etc?

i fourth that... the RCX dual stabilizer setup is the only dual setup i know of for the JK currently and let me tell you, it can't be beat. i run a 4" lift, 35" tires, and a 500 pound snowplow and i can hit potholes at 75 MPH without any issues from my front end... and while a big part of that is from having the alignment dialed in just right, i know a bigger part is thanks the the rough county dual steering stabilizer

If the suspension is set up properly, you simply won't need one, especially some double job. That is for show and nothing more. Other than that, any brand will basically perform the same. I have a Fox dampener, and if nothing else, I got it because it looks cool LOL.

Wrongo, wrongo wrongo. I've got 35's and a 3.5 lift. My SS is toast and has been for a few months. I have no kickbacks and no problems. If everything is dialed in you don't even need a SS. I've got a new Teraflex SS sitting in the garage and haven't even bothered to put it on; and we did some intense snow wheeling in Moab this winter for a week. The SS masks problems, twin SS's do an even better job of masking problems and put a greater load on the PS system. I wonder what the PS fluid temp is with a double SS system in the summer?
If you just have to have a shiney SS or two of them go ahead but don't think you're doing anything great for your Jeep.
Do a search and read WOL's thoughts on the SS; he's right on the money.
