Steering gone bad , NEED HELP!!!

Did this happen right after a wheeling event? If so, your steering wheel is probably off center again. Check to make sure your drag link adjustment bolts aren't loose. If you just replaced your tie rod and drag link, I wouldn't think that's the cause of your problem but it never hurts to double check.

As far as a skid goes, I've seen Skid Row Offroad front skids as well as LoD and Rugged Ridge that have similar front skids that'll offer some protection.
