Steering feels light?
Have an 08' X. Put a RC 3.5" lift and Teraflex adjustable trac bar. Running 17 " rock crawler wheels (steel) with Bfg Km2's. I have this light feeling in the steering with a little vibration. Several people have told me to take the dropped pitman off and go back to the stock one. Also been told to put the axle mounted track bar bracket on. Anyone have this kind of setup or experience with this scenario?

Handling issues with drop pitmans/trackbar relo's seem to be fairly common. I think yours is the third thread in the last week or so.
Start by taking a picture of the front end.
Watch this vid by TeraFlex so you know where to connect the dots.
That will give you a good indication if it is something caused by your steering angles.

Do you have both the bracket and the drop pitman installed? They are designed to work together (lowering the frame side of the drag link and the frame side of the trackbar) so using one without the other will cause the angles to be off. (removing both and adding an adjustable trackbar is pretty popular).
Other questions would be, what is your caster set at? (do you have the fixed lower arms, or cams?) Have the tires been balanced recently? And what psi are you running?

No relocation bracket. Only the dropped pitman. And all of this is only a week and half old (install and problem) and the air pressure is 35 psi. Also what about stabslizers?

The drop pitman causes the added stress. Since the bracket is gone, get rid of the drop and see how it drives. If you want to address the steeper angles, look at one of the drag link flips or high steers instead.

I would lower the psi to 30. I would also make sure your toe is set in about 1/8". No more. Best way to set the toe is put the front on stands, remove tires, and set the toe measuring off the rotors. U can use a lug nut to hold rotors firmly against hub if they don't.
I read an article in jp and this is the most accurate way. I used to measure off the tire lug, and while my toe was perfectly straight, it was not in as I thought it was. They said that was an ok way, but not the best.
Your steering angles don't look to bad, but u defiantly don't want to run a dropped pitman without a dropped frame side track bar mount.
I personally run a axle side jks relo bracket.. The big one.., and a knucke side drag flip.
U might even need to run less psi.
I run about 26 on mine.

Thanx. I will put this advice to work tomorrow. Check toe and air. So, I need to put relocation bracket back on with bigger trac bar? Mine was the axle side.
