Have some anti seize ready. A spring compressor wouldn't hurt either.

1. Loosen all control arms wether replacing them or not and retourqe them once the Jeep is back on its own weight.

2. Disconnect the front and rear trackbars when dropping the axle (be carefull not to over extend your brake lines) and you shouldn't need a spring compressor

3. Once you have finnished everything go on a 20 mile drive then retourqe it all again, then again after a week. Blue loctite is your friend.

4. Don't be afraid to stop and ask questions instead of bashing your way through it and breaking something.

That's for the front uppers. No bolts to cut on the lowers, easy install.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to open up any of the lift write-ups for for a quick refresher before you begin. Step by step with pics and stuff...

I did a Rusty's Offroad lift a few weeks ago myself and the only hard part with getting the front upper shock mounts screwed in (get a racheting wrench for this. You will thank me) and mounting the brushings on the shocks. For some reason, they came seperate in a bag and I had to use motor oil and a HUGE vice to get the brushings ready to be mounted. Hopefully yours are pre installed.

Put your Jeep in 4-LO and reverse before raising the rear axle and use wheel chocks. Your e-brake only applies to the rear axle. Gotta have some way of stopping the Jeep from rolling when both rear tires are off the ground, and putting it in gear in 2WD does't do it.

Yeah, definitely don't forget the 16MM ratcheting wrench for the top of the shocks!

Check your nut before you buy a wrench. Mine was smaller then the stock one.

Is that what she said? Sorry, sorry.

Weird that some aren't "stock".
