Default SRC Classic Rock Crawler Front Bumper w/ Winch Plate by Smitty

Is there any reason why more people aren't rocking this bumper? (I know, everyone has their own personal choice) but does it just not appeal to the eye for most people? Defective? Hangs up on rocks too easily? Not practical? I kind of like this bumper, never been for the winch/grill hoop like the XRC bumper (though its not a bad looking bumper either), but I think this bumper has good lines and is straight to the point (winch plate, light mounts, d-ring mounts) not to mention a fair price. I think what keeps me from buying it is it just worries me I dont see more people with it. Any thoughts? Concerns? Thanks.

I really like the version of that with the bars, i think the bars might add protection for the winch? possibly?

No doubt about that. I'm just surprised I dont see anyone with this bumper, not saying members don't use it, its just rare and didn't know why. I guess most members like the reassurance that they won't be smashing their $1200 winch or $200 lights on some rocks, which is understandable. I've just never been for the guard, (or paying the extra 200 bucks just for the bars on the XRC), don't know why. I'm sure there are others who feel the same as I do but wonder why they shrugged away from this bumper.

I loved this bumper but it was just more money than I was looking to spend. I went with the Poison Spider with the Crawler bar because it was cheaper... There are so many bumpers out there I'm sure this one is out there it just has to be found. I agree its my favorite looking bumper... Even over the poison spider but price and I wanted it now is reason for my purchase.

Just took a look at the poison spider bumper, not going to lie, thats a slick looking bumper in itself! I can see your reasons for going with it.

Price, coupled with a lack of factory fog light mounting holes steered me away from this one. I went with the Rugged Ridge, because of the price, factory fog light holes, and flexibility. I will admit that the Poison Spyder was my favorite looking bumper though.
