Got it working! I must not have waited the full five minutes with the door open. This time, one-Missippi, two-Missippi... and it worked fine. So I am a bone-head that can't count apparently. Or perhaps I did have the cables reversed. It is really and I mean really tight (Solitary confinement in a Turkish Prison tight) in there so it is very hard to install. Anyways, it is pretty cool, you can really feel the extra boost to the accelerator. And it works well with the FlashPaq.

did you notice a considerable difference in the throttle lag, particularly at lower rpm's?

yeah, definitely a difference when you first push the accelerator. Especially on the aggressive setting.

do you have the flashpaq? any comparison to that in terms of throttle response? also, i believe that they are working on an update that would effectively do the same thing as the sprintbooster

Yes I have both and did some seat of the pants testing to see if it was worth the $600+.

At first, I started with the Sprint Booster turned off. Mind you, I already had some throttle improvements from the Flashpaq. Anyways, I would keep doing stoplight runs testing each of the three settings, Off, Medium and Full Sport Mode. When it was off, the throttle seemed heavy and laggy. When I went to Full Sport, It was too jumpy and reved too high, too quickly. The medium mode worked best for the little 3.8 and it seemed to really perk up and was not laggy at all. It has significantly altered the feel of my Jeep and it is really fun to drive, especially on the highway. I was able to merge onto the highway fearlessly, I could pass cars at 80 and noticed that I was speeding way more than usual. Only problem, is once in awhile, the tranny will downshift and it will rev like crazy. When this happens, I obviously just back off the throttle and it settles in.

One other test that I did, was as I was driving at around 50 Mph, I would toggle through the 3 settings and kept a constant accelerator pedal pressure. As I would scroll through, with the same pedal pressure the tach would jump 700-1,000 RPM's as I went from off, to medium to full. This meant to me that the device works as described and means that less throttle pressure is needed to achieve higher RPM's faster.

The combination of the Flashpaq and the SprintBooster really livens up the driving experience. I would imagine that with a CATBACK, so that the sound matches the quicker acceleration, you would feel like you were driving a vehicle with a stouter power plant. Hope this helps.

In conclusion, 5- stars

Does anyone with a manual transmission have experience with this yet? It seems like it is beneficial to the auto tranny guys but will a manual transmission vehicle feel the same results since we can control our own driving (RPM's, Gearing, etc) a bit more?

Bruised on here has it on his 6 speed, send him a PM. He told me iimproves the throttle response alot

the hesitation from when you throttle until it actually engages is gone
