Default Spring and shock swap questions

I know their are many threads on this but I'm confused. I'm gonna do the spring swap from 16/58 to 18/59 and add a tf leveling kit to them. What else other than rubi shocks will I need or do to modify my 2013 jku. Thanks for the help and input.

You should be fine with that. You might not see much of a lift with the springs especially in the rear. If you have not gotten them yet you could look for 19/60's that would be a tad higher or stiffer.

Ok but other than looking at the brake lines for relocation I shouldn't need to add bigger bump stops or like rear track bar brackets this is new to me and I've done a lot of research which has been confusing. I believe I should get around 2 inches of lift all the way around. Doing this as a cheap alternative as I'm saving for a wedding.

You can get away with doing nothing else, but in the future I would move the links from the rear to the front and replace the rears. Or just buy a set of takeoff rears from someone to put up front. <<
<~<(swaybar links). If you use the rubi shocks your brakelines will be fine. If you get more than 2 inches I would get a rear trackbar bracket(raised). That's it.

Oh bumpstops. This will depend on tire size. But what I would do incase you need them is drill a hole in each of the bottom front spring perches. So you don't have to take everything else apart if you do end up needing them. The rears take 10 minutes just to bolt on. The fronts would be the same if the holes were there. So my advice is to add them when you install the lift. Basically drill a hole on each side and spray the bare metal with touch up paint. Simple with it apart.

You will be fine. Everything else I have is stock. Are you running stock tires? The leveling kit you are installing you can run up to 34" tires. With a little trimming a little more larger. Several members running 35's. Check out Traumahead's rig.I I put on larger tires I would install higher bumpstops.

I appreciate all the help. I'm looking to go from the stock 16in rims to 17in rubi rims with 265 70 r17 is what I would like. It's still my dd and I don't want to kill my mpgs

You should be fine with the new engine. I went from stock sport 225's to Rubi 255's. I am on a strict tight ass beer budget. Look on here for members selling theirs. You can get whole lot cheaper. Wheels, tires, leveling kit, spring, shocks, and spacers in into it for about $1200 all slightly used.

That's what I'm doing. This is my first jeep and the community has been very helpful.
