I have a somewhat dumb question about the spacer install that has been on my mind.( I installed my spacers yesterday) My question is about the re-torque. Will the Loc Tight (red) used on the spacers be compromised once you re-torque the wheel? I was thinking one would "break" the locking action of the Loc Tight by doing this would'nt you? I know it must be done and is part of the install but I was just courious about how that works. Love the look it gives to the stock wheels!

Thanks

Set the wrench a bit lower than the torque spec.

I ran spidertrax spacers for a good 5000 miles with no issues. Used red loctite and did not retorque them once.

Have them installed and all is good! Made the Jeep look much better and it even feels more stable on and offroad!!

Just rotated my tires this morning. 5000km since last rotation/check.

Cleaned/checked the SpyderTrax spacers with torque wrench set to 85ft/lbs. They were originally installed at 90 ft/lbs. 20/20 lugs had not budged. Originally installed with red loc-tite.

Installed wheels to 95 ft/lbs and will check again in about 1 week (or less if I drive a bunch).

I've had mine on for about 2000 miles now with no problems so far. I don't anticipate any either.

I have had mine for about 6k miles, never checked torque for a long time. When I did they were fine... No issues at all.
