Default Spare Tire Rotation

Does anyone rotate their spare into the mix? If so how often, just go clockwise or something like that?

Unless you have MTRs, then the one that doesn't balance stays as the spare

Ha! One of my MTRs was gonna take 32oz to balance. It wasn't possibly so that thing is going between spare and the rear at rotations... Bleeping up the rotation...

I use a different pattern because I like the tires changing direction every time.

But not rotating in the spare is a waste because a tire has a shelf life...it's use it or lose it. And as a bonus it adds about 20% additional life. However, that is lost when you have to buy 5 replacements...lol

Not really lost. You buy 5 tires, but less often than you would have to buy 4 tires.

True, Ron. Sure beats throwing one away. But if you carry your spare around for 5 tire changes, then it's a wash? I'm not sure because it gets confusing. If you have to buy your tires 20% earlier but you only have to buy 80% of your tires well then...hmmmm...let me see...carry the one......aw hell I don't know.
