Default Spare tire carrier

What type of spacer do you need to use to mount 35" tires on the spare tire carrier. Thanks in advance.

You don't NEED one. It may be easier to use onel, but there are plenty of people who have managed to get theirs on without a spacer.

Mine with a stock 17" wheel would not even come close to fitting. I used a 1.5 spacer but a 1" would have also worked.

What type of spacer did you use? Do you have to buy them in a pair?

If you are using aftermarket wheels with at least 4.5" of backspacing you will not need a spacer.

Wonder if the stock will hold up the weight of a 35 over time...

35" tire rests on the bumper so it takes some stress off of the door. When I hit bumps on the street the tire does shake a bit. Off road I can't say I have not had any time for off roading yet. I think in time it would damage something. I am replacing my with the Jeeperman bumper to be safe.(paitently waiting for bumper "two weeks, two weeks.............."
