Default Spare 37 doesnt fit on my aev carrier

So ive had 37s and an aev carrier since December and still have never actually had my spare on. I looked for a longer 1/2 x 20 8 grade fine thread bolt in 5 or 6 inches so I can push the carrier piece of the carrier further out from the swing out piece but i can't find one anywhere. What about just putting a wheel space on to be able to put the wheel on? I'm using the longer bolt of the 2 that aev provides but the back sidewall of the tire still hits the the carrier and the 3 threaded bolts ton stick out through my spare tire to be able to thread wheel lugs on. Any suggestions?

Can I just use an old spidertrX? Aev says it should fit but if I bang out the wheel holder far enough to hold it the "long" bolt they give you to put in the back and keep the tire holder in the receiver isn't long enough to catch me threading it s absurd

Hey thanks, but I dont thing rubber stops will help me in this case it's that the 3 bolts that you would attach your spare to, they dont stick through the holes of my wheel because the sidewall of the tire hits the metal swing out, I need to extend the distance betwween the tire and the swing out

Then just find a thread that matches and the cheapest you can find
