Would I need to run wheel spacers with the stock Rubicon wheels/tires when doing a 2.5" coil lift? I know I would need them with a 3" lift.

I ran stock rubi tires and wheels for 6 months on my X before I got my 35s and new rims with a 3.5 Rubicon Express lift.

No you don't. Lift height has nothing to do with wheel spacers.
