Default spacer lift help!

I bought two .5 inch spacers from a member awhile back. Finally get around to putting them on to day. I figured it would be easy and now I am confused. It looks like they are rear spacers not front like I was told. Can someone confirm and help me out please?

First pic is the spacer sitting on the bottom perch. Second is the spacer next to the top spring perch ring.

It is an easy and pretty straighforward job. the bigger of the 2 is the rear one and they go on top of the coil springs, not the bottom. Don't forget to free your shocks and sway bar links bottom attachments, frame brakeline attachment and breather hoses. If you have a rubicon, you also have to disconect the locker connections. At the rear, you have to free the E brake cables from their attachment under the body over the rear axle.

Although possible, I never saw a spacer installed under the coil spring, unless it is wedged to correct the spring position. what I see in your picture, is one rear ( big one) and 1 front. If that's all you have, it is most likely to be installed on the passenger side to correct the infamous lean due to the gas tank being located on that side.

The small rubber ring is the stock rubber piece that goes on top of the front spring. The larger ring is the one I bought and thought was a spacer for the front. But it looks like it's actually for the rear. Is that correct?

Well that sucks. I sure hope the guy who sold it to me made a mistake, but I am not so sure that's the case. Thanks for confirming for me.
