How the heck do you get the lower control arms off??? these bolts are on there...

Or you could try a break-bar, something to give you a little more leverage.

Put a piece of pipe over th end of your wrench or use a torque wrench to break it or use a Jack underneath the wrench.

make sure you have a jack under the diff, that bitch will rotate down hard

A jack is the way to go. Take off your tires support it with a jack the remove the bolts and arms.

Yes they have been hard to loosen, but an 18 or 24 inch breaker bar will take care of business. I would not recommend pounding them out. The recommendations to use a jack to take off the pressure will preserve your bolt threads. Don't try unthread one of the bolts under pressure, you will flatten out the threads and run into problems with a cross threaded bolt. As others have said - "Ask me how I know"!

Man I hope that is not the case.

I noticed you are in Boston? Is it rusty? Maybe you should spray PB Blaster on the nuts and leave it overnight and try again tomorrow.

if he leaves the tires on he'll have more control of the diff.
