Which soft top would you get and why
So I recently purchased a 2014 4dr Sahara 6speed with just a hardtop. My thought process was I would pick up a soft top on my own and summer is around the corner.
So here is the question: which soft top and why?
Consider ease of folding down as well as looks as well as install.
Thank you in advance.

Trektop NX. It looks and works great. It's not nearly as hard as everyone says to take off and has the sunrider that opens up the front half when you want some quick sun. Because its frameless it looks better than stock soft tops and gives your jeep a different shape than the hard top which is a nice change. I did the same thing when I bough my '14 JKU with hard top

Since you don't have any of the hardware I would recommend the trek top! It doesn't require any hardware/ framing. It will run you $500+/- but if you need a complete soft top you are going to spend just as much or more. I am leaning towards one myself. It stores better and looks great. Installation can be a pain from what I'm hearing but well worth it

I was definitely looking at the trektop nx. I like the fastback look too. The install did look a little annoying however like you guys said it could be worth it.
2 Questions
1. Do you unzip the windows out instead of folding the top all the way. That's how it appears to me. I apologize for my ignorance.
2. What is the difference in trektop nx and trektop nx twill other than $500+ difference. Worth it?

Install is not bad at all. Just remember to set top in sunlight for an hour or two. I just put mine back on. Set in set. Changed clothes had a snack. Then went out and took hardtop off and installed two brackets. Then door frames and finally top. Took total of 30-45 including taking top off. The rear windows unzip and your left with a safari top. If really wanted with an extra couple minutes you could take top completely off.

What are your thoughts on the supertop nx. Any issues with that. It seems like it may be more functional and go convertible quicker. And it "seems" to have an easier install. However it's not a fastback look.
Thoughts?

I just installed my new NX this past weekend. Got it off Amazon for under $600 (not the twill version). I'd rather the rougher fabric. I'd say the install was pretty darn easy. I never once read the instructions. Instead, I found a GREAT play by play on YouTube by Bestop themselves. I installed the top in 60 degree evening and it was tight, as it should. Next morning, everything was much easier to manage. Absolutely love this top. Just had a day of rain, no leaks. Love the fastback look.

I wanted my JKU to stand out. I have not yet seen one with the Trektop NX here around the Seattle metro area or surounding areas, mostly see all stock 4 doors and modified 2-doors. I bought mine with the hardtop and have the Trektop NX. Waiting to get it on though with some warm weather, while I am home. It is the most unique and you don't have that funky framework poking up the stock softops that I personally think looks funny.
Trektop NX looks bad-ass.
