I have a '13 JKU with a hard top. I was considering picking up a soft top for it. What soft top (Manu. and model) would you recommend and why? Trek top, standard style, etc. Thanks.

The factory premium tops are...."tops". It's quiet, cleans up easily, fits well, replacement parts are plentiful, they're relatively cheap , and the resale on them isn't bad if you decide to part with it.

My Jeep came with a hard top only so I purchased a Bestop Sunrider soft top and I'm very happy with it. Full top down in minutes.

+1 on the MOPAR Premium Sunrider Soft Top with Tinted Windows.

Extremely versatile and durable. My JKUR came with Hard Top only, hardly put it on now. Will probably only install the Hard Top for the few hard winter months.

I like the looks of the trektop (fastback style), but seems they get mixed reviews. Can anyone comment specifically on them as far as experience with them? i.e. ease of use, install, leaks, secure when going down the highway, etc.

Needs to be installed on a hot day. Easy to use and convert to a full length bikini and back. Mine has never leaked but its never rained hard on it either. Quiet until about 70MPH on the highway. I sometimes wish I had a regular square back top so I could pack more stuff back there when camping.

I second that about the hot day install. Full take down takes about 5 minutes. I like leaving the sun rider on to and taking the sides off. One thing I will say is that the rear headrests (at least on a 2 door) will hit the back window. I just took them off and store in the back.
