Soft top ?

Hey guys out of curiosity, does anyone have a jku soft top and the 2 "wings" or tail pieces have a support going through them to keep them rigid? I have a 2011 and my brother has a 2008 and we don't have them. My sister has a 2 dr 2011 and hers does. It feels like a strip of metal or something that keeps them rigid. Hope this makes sense lol

But would the sail panels be different on a 2 door compared to a 4. Mine doesn't have the pieces and hers does but both are 11s
