They certainly are not in any more danger than a stock Jeep.

Of course they are, it's a lever.

Lots of "I'm subtlety insulting you" in this thread. Who cares if you lift a Jeep and put 35's on it and don't wheel it, doesn't bother me in the least. Also good enough driver? what may be "good" to you might be an easier less interesting line to someone else. That being said, these are definitely not for me, my Frame mounts are already mushrooming over from rocks and we don't have the toughest trails in NH. Also the "easier" line is not usually my cup of tea, sometimes classified as the stupid line (if you ask my wife).

All that foolishness being said this is one of the reasons the AEV lifts ride so nicely, I have tried with and without and they do make the on road experience a little better.
