It doesn't matter to me, as I want a wider wheel anyway. I am staying with the 17's though, 35's are about a 2:1 ratio so it should work great! Check out discount tire direct, they are a sponsor and have great prices as well.
well if they are around and feel like helping me out, they already know what i have to spend so..... Here i am, hook me up with what i need, black steel rims with enough backspacing to fit properly with my soon to be installed 2.5 BB.... steering stabilizer too. A number to call them would do too, i also have to consider shipping to east coast.

As long as my overall wheel diameter is around 34" im fine with that, thats why i was looking at the terra grapplers.

Lets hear it
You should be able to better than $ 500, I got my TF 2.5 coil lift shipped for just over $600. PM Northridge4x4.

You can get 15" wheels for 50-60/ea. Check out summitracing.com, you'll want 4-4.5 BS. The tires for 15's will be cheaper, plus you don't need spacers. You can also try selling your 18's on Craigslist to offset the cost.

Shipping is free through Discount Tire Direct. Also, unless your steering stabilizer is broken, there's no need to purchase another one.

Just know that with the coil lift, you're going to net more than 2.5"(about 3-3.25"), which will make you more susceptible to ripping the boot on your front driveshaft when flexing offroad(since you have an auto trans). Also, since you have a 2dr, you may need to replace the rear driveshaft down the road. I've put about 15k miles on my 2dr with this lift and haven't had any driveshaft issues yet, but is something to budget for eventually.

The TF 2.5" coil lift comes with everything you need, but i've added an adjustable front trackbar (centers your axle in the wheel well) and adjustable front Lower Control Arms(LCA's), which improve the handling.

Edit: A lot of good info can be found here-- https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...ery-Newbie-Has

Should have been more clear. The trackbar centers the axle, so you don't have one tire sitting inside the wheel well, and the other side sticking out.

Well I think your original question was could u run the 295 tires on your stock rim.... Yes u can with spacers... I know some people like the 18 inch sahara rims. I do and will be putting that size tire on my rims for that reason. I did alot of research on this forum and that was the same question that i had. If you really like the rim I would say run em!

I've got the same dilemma goin on with my Sahara...just got off the phone with Teraflex and was told that I wouldn't have any interference issues running 295/70/17 tires on wheels with 4.5" backspacing when using their original spacer style leveling kit.
Looks like I'll be going with the V-Tec Raptors and Nitto Trail Grapplers in the sizes listed above...last I checked, entire package was going to run around $2,000 or so....for what it's worth! Good luck!
