Default snowboard racking

hey guys... i have a set of yakima snowboard attachments that i used on my last car. they attached to the roof bars.

anyone know the best way to reuse these with the jeep? can anyone recommend a good safari rack with mounting points for these kinds of attachments?

any other snowboard carrying ideas?

Here is what I use for my families skis and kids Snowboards. Thule 300 gutter mounts with LB58 Load bars and a Yakima box. I mounted the gutter mounts on the rear portion of the hardtop staying off the front freedom panels.

I am sure you can use thule gutter mounts and load bar and use your Yakima Board rack. I have had no issues with cracking using the box and gutter mounts.

I have a thule hitch-mount bike rack, with a Blue Ox 2 inch drop receiver and a hitch-ski attachment.

It's heavy as heck, and my boards always need cleaning before I hit the trail...

I did see one JK at the slopes who just used the bike rack... put their boards in a crappy board bag... and bungeed them to the rack horizontally (Like a spoiler). I was intrigued by it, and may even give it a whirl one of these days...

I've done this with Thule and Yakima, but put the front bars on the freedom panels. No issues with either setup.
