^^^^^ that is what I am seeing. The snorkel is pulling in more cooler outside air vs pulling in hot engine air.

With the install of my AEV ram-air snorkel with AFe Drop-in filter. I gained 2 MPG after I replaced my AirRaid CAI (Hot Engine Air Intake) system. I ran both systems with the superchips on Tow mode and my fuel mileage is hand calculated. Also, I get the bonus of not worrying about sucking in water.

JKU - 6spd, 3:73 gearing, 33's, 3" lift, bumpers & winch.

Currently in the winter I am getting 17MPG city and 20 MPG highway. Summer months I usually can pull around 17-18MPG city and 21-22 MPG highway and drive it pretty hard.

Default My Current mileage

I am averaging 18.8 mpg daily in th hills of SW virginia in my JKU with 55000 miles on it. I drive 47 miles to work 10 country and 37 interstate 81. I have a 3" lift, 4:88's, 33 inch tires and an automatic. And I drive for economy, summer blend will improve it a little.

I just want to add a snorkle but I don't want to keep paying for it every time I fill up.
When I had the roof rack I averaged 16.5
