I'm about to buy a snorkel just wondering what you guys recommend to cut the hole in the bonnet? Thanks.

I went with Rugged Ridge on my 2013 JKU as I didn't want the upper portion on all the time, cleaner look in my opinion.

Easy install and only had to trim the fender.

Used it last Saturday and I think it saved my bacon in one spot as it turned out to be deeper than I thought.

I have owned other snorkels in the past and as long as you us it as a back up not a true under water event, they work well.

Rugged ridge hasn't made the snorkel compatible with the 2012 yet but rumors are that this spring/summer we will see either an update to the current snorkel or a new kit all together to work with the 2012.

I also vote rugged ridge, I have it on my 09 and I wouldn't go any other way.
