Default SmrtTire?

Anyone used the smarttire tire pressure monitoring system? I got one of these and it's driving me mad : 1st it got signal from all four sensors and worked, then lost one , then two and now it shows only one! Manual doesn't say how to reset the unit.. Any ideas?

I deflated and inflated in hope to get the signal / learn mode to occur but with no luck

Nope they won't as you can set the limit of the low air alarm! (from 0 to 15 psi). However I'm very disapointed as yet I can't get the signal from all 4 sensors, maybe the MTC baja are two thick to passs through the FM signal?

We have the SmarTire system on our motorhome. Shortly after installing it, it would not pickup the rear tires. It ended up being a bad antenna or antenna wire. Once that was replaced it all worked fine.

The original poster has an aftermarket tire monitoring system from SmarTire - http://www.smartire.com/

It does not come as original equipment on any Jeep.

oh, ok. I was thinking that might be what is on the 08s. They have some air pressure on them.

What a shitty website. No pictures of anything... I at least like to see the product before I consider a purchase. Crimeny. How many tires can the automotive version monitor? I was thinking all five tires and even monitoring the on-board air pressure system. What say ye?

After downloading the manual... it looks like you could do 10 sensors.

The product is of high quality, I don't know what I did and I lost the signals from all tires. The monitor can give you temp and pressure on as many as 18 tires! depending on how many snesors you want to ad.

I just need to figure out how to reset the system

I have pressure sensors on mine. They were original eqipment. They let you know when the air pressure is low. Both by audible and visual light in the dash.
