Smittybuilt G.E.A.R tailgate
Remember seeing people having problem with the tailgate cover drooping after alot of weight added to it. What are some ways to fix it since I am putting it on this weekend. I rather do it right the first time.

I screwed the top left corner then pulled it tight and then drilled the next screw in. I also stuck 3m heavy duty Velcro strips around the edges between each self tapping screws. I got a lot of weight on mine and I haven't had any issues with sagging. I also add a long strip of Velcro across the top so I can drape a black cloth over my gear to somewhat hide it when the top is off.

I just got mine and will install later today, i will be installing mine with polynuts as i hate sheet metal screws. Polynuts are simple and and when i remove it there wont be any jagged holes left just a threaded hole i can push a black cap into, i will be using 10x24 stainless button head screws.
