Smittybilt XRC Front Bumper with Warn PowerPlant - has anyone done it?
OK...i have a Smittybilt XRC front bumper and I planned to install the WARN PowerPlant Dual Force HD - 12000, but everyone I have talked to so far says that it won't fit into the winch cutout on the XRC. I am curious if anyone has modified this in any way to make this combo work. I really don't want to mount a separate onboard air compressor, but I also want the winch to be mounted safely.

I did it!! But, it was a MAJOR PITA...Had to trim the bumper in a couple of places. Also had to trim off part of the winch cover in order to get it over toward the passenger side so that the line would be centered in the fairlead. Mounted it to the bumper and then installed the bumper. If I had it to do over again, I would just go with the 9.5cti.
Here's the trim job on the winch. No big deal, its just a cover.
Next, I trimmed the bumper to make war for the pawer brake thing-a-ma-jig. Also had to re-drill the mounting holes little toward the driver's side.
Then I had to take off part of the bumper mounting plate. I know, there will be some loss of strength. I just figured that, if i am doing that heavy of winching, the bumper is coming off anyway!

Warn power plant with Smitty XRC stinger
I got mine to fit bit off cutting had to drill new hole a 1.25" to the driver side. Only problem i have is that it dose not like to spool the 2" on the driver side of the drum.
