Default Smittybilt SRC tube doors

After a few weeks of research I went ahead and pulled the trigger on front and rear Smittybilt SRC tube doors.

Shipment had a few issues. Box was broken in a corner, but no real damage to the door themselves

Installations was actually quite easy, I did the right side of the jeep my way...installing hinge on door (loosely), hanging on door hinge, closing door and tightening screws.

For the left side I did exactly what the instructions called for (even though it sounded bizarre to me)...hung hinge in door hinge, closed door on striker and than bolted the hinge to door.

To my surprise the left side closes and opens much better than the right So follow the instructions

I will be taking off the right side and reinstalling as per instructions.

There is some rattling, but only when going large bumps, train tracks...

Door has actually a very nice textured finish.

All in all I am very happy with the doors and it gives my wife that important sense of safety

Use black electric tape and wrap the tape around the silver door hooks. Where the door locks onto the body of the jeep. It should stop the tube doors from rattling. You may have to go around a few times until the door closes right. It worked with my body armor doors.

I second the electrical tape trick, it made a big difference with my Rugged Ridge tube doors.

Your Jeep looks great! I've always been a fan of the Gecko Green.
