smittybilt src rocker "protectors"

I posted a thread with the exact same problem over a year ago. Many of us had this same issue. Most including myself reached out to Smittybilt and they have replaced them with another product no charge. I'm surprised they still sold them as is or have not added a middle mount since the complaints. But they did make good on mine. Most have chose the XRC body mount sliders and have been pleased with that product. I got their classic sliders and they have performed a lot better than the SRC's. I would contact them and I'm sure they will do right by you since others have complained before and been taken care of. Good luck.

i just emailed them, we'll see. I'm requesting a refund for the bars and compensation for the repairs that need to be done to the jeep. as far as the repairs, I'm guessing filling the dents would be the best option and then bedline the rockers?

IMO this can happen with any of the tube slider designs; one of the reasons I went with a boatside style. The metal bar that connects to the frame, being relatively long, can flex when the entire weight of the jeep comes down on a rock.
ACE sliders with Rubi rails is a good combo, and if I did not go boatside, would have done that
