Question Smittybilt SRC Bumper Name Plate

Has anyone taken the yellow "smittybilt" oval name plate off their bumper or rock guards? Just wondering if its just glued on or if there is a rivet behind the yellow metal nameplate?

I took mine off of my rocker guards, it's just on there with 3m adhesive. It'll pull right off only leaving a little sticky residue, I just rubbed it off with my thumb, but if you have some citrus cleaner it would be a little easier.

So when you take it off can you verify everything is good? I'm worried that it will take some paint off with it.

Even if it does mess up the paint its no big deal.......The edges of the bumper had torn the shipping box and the powder coat was rubbed / scratched off when I got it. A couple coats of bedliner from a can and it looked like new. Cant tell the difference between the bedliner and powder coat which will come in handy in the future.

Tear the metal???? I'll admit their not as heavy duty as others but not a bad bumper. Especially for the money.

Finally pulled the yellow plates off my bumper and rock rails.....was messing up my all black look! Just as those above posted....double stick tape, residue came right off with a little cleaner (M30 - similar to Goo B Gone).

and just for mkjeep........I didn't lose any metal.
