does anyone have pictures?
I know that their TJ bumpers were direct copies of the Currie units.
Are they going to be the same?

Any body have one of these yet...

Or even just the plain bumper?

4 wheel parts has 'em for $149, but the pic is of the TJ bumper.

I don't have one yet... but will probably end up getting one shortly once i start building up my jeep, i can't justify paying $1000 or so for some of the other bumper/tire combo's out there.

just trying to decide between that bumper or their other one

Smittybilt stuff is made in China. A lot of stuff is now. With the country's economy in the shape it's in now, "I" would not consider buying a foreign good now if my life depended on it. We are trying hard now to buy as much American as possible. It's impossible with clothes and everyday goods, but with stuff like Jeep accessories, it's not so tough. I say buy American. It might cost more, but you'll get a better product and help OUR economy, not someone else's. To me, that's worth the extra cost.

I don't own one, but a guy that I wheel with has one on his YJ. He hates it. the only reason that he hasn't replaced it yet is that the YJ is not his DD. Inexpensive, yes....but you may indeed get what you pay for. YMMV.

But for that cheap it would save my tailgate until I can save up for the LOD or Shrockworks. And I've already spent over $5K on my jeep since halloween. I'll have to look into it.

I was looking at the plain bumper for $149.
If i can't at least find a pic of what it looks like, i guess i'll build one. (i built the front one already)
Not sure if i can buy the steel & hardware for $149...
