If you have aftermarket carrier spare without lugs, how have you secured your spare?

Are you asking in regards to theft protection? Some people run a chain through the holes in the wheel and the carrier. Doesn't that carrier have a spot for you to put a lock on it??

Edit.......Looking closer- there is a place for a lock and your handle has a mechanical stop that would catch on the lock. Put a lock on and enjoy your security.

I'll give a standard pad lock a shot in the holes and see if it works.
