Smaller Tires needed in Denver to pass Emissions - Will Pay $$
Gang:
I am in need of some 33's or smaller to allow my JK to pass emissions here in Denver. I bought it with 35's and recently went up to 37's. Is there anyone on the board that has some stocks or mounted 33's or smaller that they could help me out with. My thought is a rental type of set up. If needed I will leave some sort of collateral behind so you know you will get them back. Willing to pay in $$ or Beer for anyone willing to help me out. Thanks for the responses.

Denver is qwerky with some of it's laws concerning 4x4's.
Q.
Wheel Sizes and Dynamometers?
A.
Front wheel and all wheel drive vehicles with low profile rim sizes 17 inches or larger in diameter, or vehicles with wheel sizes larger than 34 inches cannot be safely tested on the dynamometer.
Only vehicles with manufacturer-equipped undersized or oversized tires that do not fit safely on the dynamometer will be authorized by the state to undergo an idle test instead of a dynamometer test. Vehicles with tires larger or smaller than original equipment that do not fit safely on the dynamometer must be returned to stock condition for testing. Vehicles with non-original undersized or oversized tires will not receive authorization from the state for an idle test.

Denver has a dyno that won't accept tires any bigger than 33". I borrowed a set from the dealer I bought mine from. Just turn escape off and it will drive fine. Looks goofy though according to the lady at the testing location lol.
