Default Skidplates

Anybody here using these skids by Treks
http://www.tntcustoms.com/page.asp?pageid=88

OR by RockHard4x4
http://www.rockhard4x4parts.com/jk-skids.html

Pros/Cons, Quality, Fit Issues? Let me know, they're both around the same price so that's not much of an issue.

NOTE:
If moderators have issue with the poll feel free to remove or let me know and I'll take it down. I know both RH4x4 and Treks are sponsors, not trying to offend.

Like the Rock Hards. They do what they're supposed to do and I've had no fitment issues. The Treks look solid too although I'm not sure I like how they leave the bolts exposed.

The all come in black. The colorful ones were the prototypes and to display the product.

How much tougher is Rock Hard the gas tank skid than the stock one? I've pounded my stock one hard and it has help up very well.

I'm also in the market for a new T-case skid as I smacked the brace last weekend and now it has a big dent. Held up very well but don't want to keep it that way too long.

wow, maybe mines defective then. cuz after 2 trips on moderate trails mine is in definite need of reinforcement

with the above gas tank skids, they bolt over the stocker gas tank skid cuz the stock skidplate is also the gastank mount . so i'll have to pound out some of the trail damage to get my rockhard skid to fit

Only moderate trails? You need a better spotter!
