Thanks Jim, just talked to Rick, he said he does not have anything ready to ship at the moment but should have the full aray of armor very soon. Really looking forward to some engine protection.

Dave, glad you called, they are a bunch of great people and I'm glad I got hooked up with them (as a JK donor). It hs been a blast along with an education working side by side with them, they have been designing armor/skids for a while now and it shows, plus they all Hardcore Wheel.
There will be an array of armor for the JK very soon. The Engine Skid is awesome, very strong and easy to install, and should be ready soon.

 

sorry to bring back an old thread but has anyone recieved the skid row engine skid plate? I am looking to purchase one and want to make sure they in production and shipping before i order

 

Although I have seen a few on show/manufacturer JK's, I don't know if they are shipping out to the general public yet. But, before you buy, I should tell you that I just saw the new Kilby skid last night at Off Road Evolution and it looks pretty good. I believe Kevin Mcnulty of 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Mag will be testing it out next week up in Oregon. Need I say, there are plenty more skids coming our way and soon.

 

Agreed......that is about waiting for other options. I also think it's best to wait and see what the compeditors come up with befaore you order the first skid you see.
