I'm looking for a JK 2 door bumper that's as simple as this one posted by Luke M in the Bumper Comparison thread. There are a couple that almost fit the bill, one being the Olympic Front Rock Bumper, and there's another one from Benchmark Designs that looks promising:

Have any of you guys seen anything comparable? Ideally it would be mid to full length (not a stubby), have D-ring mounts and be reasonably priced. Front and rear.
Cheers chaps.

I like the simplicity of my Woods front winch bumper. The pavement ends bumpers that quadratec and 4wd hardware have looks like they might be right up your alley.

I have the Benchmark Designs mid width front that you link to and really like it for its simplicity, weight and price. However you will need some serious patience if you order it. Search the forum for Benchmark Designs and you will see all of the threads on getting product from them. That said I still have the matching rear on order and will wait for it.

I got ACE Engineering and Fab's front because its simple, can get it without the bar or with a stinger instead as well.

Okay, thanks for the info. Do you have any pics of it mounted on your Jeep?

Yeah, I love the simplicity of that. It's a little bit stubby for my tastes though. I'd prefer to get something a little bit longer.

If you want a simple bumper as in the 1st picture just go out and find a old YJ or TJ front bumper and drill the holes its that simple.. good luck

It just looks like a piece of 6 x 2 "C" channel, just drill it where the stock bolts are and that is it. Should be pretty cheap too.

Started with five feet of 6x2 Channel Iron. See Photo 1

Cut it down and added rattle can bedliner. Photo 2

Roughly the same weight as the "porn star mustache" but much stronger.

You could leave it at 5 foot for a mid length bumper. Six feet would get you a full length, but be rough on the knee caps when you cut the corner to short.
