I ordered black wheels for my white jk... And I get why some people might be hesitant to jump on that bandwagon since almost every modded jeep I see has black wheels.. It's personal preference I am not a huge fan of the polished chrome look but I have seen many nice alloy color like the aev wheels

Default Wheels

Everyone’s Jeeps look awesome!

Runewolf and 8figgas (and to a lesser degree, robsjeep9, and only because you’re a Steelers’s fan-Go Eagles!) what are those wheels?

Thanks all.

And powersurg: what are those wheels? Look awesome and gives a bit of both. Maybe I don't have to decide between the black and silver...

Thanks Bro! They are the Mamba M5's. THey are no longer being made. I contacted the manufacturer andthey sold them to me direct for $80 a wheel. Biggest score of my life. LOL OTher sites are still selling them for over 200 a wheel.

BLows my mind that they are not making them anymore. Its probably because the 18x9 wheel only comes in a 5in Back Space.

They may still have a few 17's left. WHen I ordered my 18's from them I took the last 5 they had.
HEre is what Mamba has to offer.

Ion also make a wheel very similar.

Helo HE842

ATX Slot 17

All the ones listed above are very similar.

I will say that I did jump on the band wagon and get myself some black rims and I love them. For my style they are perfect. I always tell people that they could get a good combination of black and sliver rims. Maybe you could try a black rim that has a silver lip, those look great to.

Personally I think black wheels down play the tire/wheel package. If you are going for a subtle look they are great. They are also easy to touch up if you tear them up on a rock. Little spray and it's hardly noticeable.

I went with a tungsten outer black inner. I wanted a nice looking rim that still looked like it belonged on a trail instead of a flashy wheel better suited on a chromed out H2. If you shred chrome on a rock they are pretty much trashed. The tungsten hides scratches pretty well.

My first choice was machined silver, but the wheels I wanted were out of stock so I went with the current wheels. Black on black looks too plain IMO.

I wanted silver to hide small blemishes. I might go for a two tone style and I may have to based on selection. I'll just rock the stock for a while until I need tires.
