Default Silver vs. Black Wheels

I'm deciding on a lot of my first major mods right now and for the most part this is purely cosmetic, but regarding wheels:

I have an '11 JKU Rubi 4 dr, all black. I'm probably going for a 2.5-3.5 lift, 35's. I have other questions that I'm trying to figure out on that front, but on rims: what are people's opinions on steel/silver (or variants) wheels and going to black? If I had a not-black jeep, I don't think I'd have a question and go for black wheels, but I'm wondering if an all black rig works or if a little color (or really, not black) would add a little? I've searched through the show and tell pages and everything else on here and I apologize for posting a cosmetic question, but I'm just curious on opinions. I go back and forth every day, but I'm about to pull the trigger and order new wheels, so it's getting towards D-Day.

And any picks on black jeeps would be appreciated with different colored wheels. And sorry, I don't mean to steal the show and tell part. Just looking for recs.

You are where I was about 3 months ago. I searched this forum, others, and the web over for pictures of black unlimiteds with black wheels of every variety. I think ALL black jeeps look great. I ended up going with a combo black and silver. IN the end, its completely up to you. The best is what you settle on not what others tell you to do.

just plasti-dip your stock rims for now! That's what I did. $20 and a few hours of time is all it costs. You can peel it off if you don't like it. Or you can leave it on for a while to see if you like a black rim on your jeep.

I like the black rim. When I go to 35s, I'm going to keep the stock rims for now and I'll respray them.

Even though it's a Steeler's color I like the black on black look.
