Default Side mounted rear jump seats?

Anyone ever thought about fabricating something like this, in the back? I know Land Cruisers have this style, which fold up. I guess the rub would be how to install them and what to do with the need for a seat belt.

Searched and didn't find a thread based on this.

Might be cool for kids. I think the roll cage would hinder any possibility of comfort for tall people. Probably wouldn't be too hard to get some seats and fab brackets. I haven't yet seen it attempted.

Sweet idea... I've always liked them in the old Land Cruisers.

There is a company that currently makes a side facing 3rd row seat that will fit in a JK...but do you mean 3rd row or the entire back of the jeep?

Just the individual seats, facing each other. What company makes these?
