Finally got around to ordering these! I can't wait to get them!
I ordered them for my unlimited in textured black with no body lift. Is this what most of you got or did you get the semi-gloss black? Any big difference in finish durability between these two?

I ordered mine Shrockworks rails unfinished. Used rattle can primer and then flat black. I have a black 4 dr JK and I like the flat black rock rail look. I've had rock rails on several Jeeps and I beat the tar out of them. I just go back and touch up the paint once a year, (right before winter).

I really like these things. I had a friend help me and we took our time installing these. It took about 3 hours. Of course if we didn't take as many beer and barbecue breaks as we did during the install, it would have gone much faster. When you install yours, definitely get the unibit, it really speeds things up. Oh and when you're tightening the self tapping bolts, don't overtighten them since the head of the bolt snaps off easily if you overtighten.

If you want to aggravate a thief just tack the nuts on in a spot or two.

Just read the whole thread, and I think I will go with these, but I am not sure that I should keep the OEM rockrails with it. Probably get them bare steel, and bedline them.
