Rear End Thread (PG rated)

On topic: My JK needs a better rear end. Stock bumper with 33 on the tailgate. I really would like a bumper that retains the stock trailer hitch, but Shrockworks is just pie in the sky right now (I love their stuff, though!) and Warn has those silly "W"/s laser etched into it. So, as you post your pic's, please mention if your bumper retains/can retain the stock hitch.

I think this bumper/tire carrier is built great. The swing arm is very solid, and I only have a slight rattle if I hit a large bump (big speed bump, or rock). I have not had the pleasure of driving it on washboard type dirt roads. I don't know if any part of my Jeep wouldn't rattle on some of those tracks.

I like the integrated hitch. I new I was NOT going to keep the stock bumper, so I did not gt the towing package with my Rubi. That saved a little coin.

I also liked the M.O.R.E. bumper, but they do not offer the extra attachments like a trail/travel basket, or gerry can mounts. I would have to have those built by a custom shop. That can get expensive, especially if it isn't right first try.

I don't know how to re-size these pictures, so if someone else has that know-how, please tell me and I will make these bigger.

Ah, there it is. Look at the URL you posted--the "th" in the picture indicates that it's a thumbnail. Delete that and the _ and you have, ta-da!:

I just bought the new LOD signature rear end with tire carrier and all the goodies too. The bumper has a hitch integrated into it so you loose your stock hitch. I love the look of the LOD as it's lines flow really good with the body of the JK and it has integrated back up lights too. I should get it in the mail in 2-3 weeks, i'll make sure to post up some pictures then.
