Here is what I did. I think I would make a post coming straight up off your spare tire carrier if you're only running one light. Or a bracket inside the two of your spare like some of the others

I have mine mounted on a bestop highrock spare tire carrier basket. They work amazing for backing up/working at night and even better for blinding the asshole that drives too close or with high beams on
