Should I get new shocks after 2" spacer body lift?

i used the skyjacker 2in budget boost kit and got the hydro shocks it recommended after i had my stock ones off and hanging next to the skyjackers i realized that they are the same length both extended and fully compressed. so watch out for what you buy, the ended up being pretty much a waste of a hundred or so bucks, cause the skyjackers dont have near the ride quality of my stock rubicon shocks, and honestly if it wasnt for just not feeling like decommissioning the jeep for another day (lazyness) i would go back to the stock stocks.
