Post Shock's and springs from a Rubicon

I recently installed some shock's and spring's and a Daystar 3/4" leveling kit from a 10 4DR Rudicon onto my 11 2DR Sport. The install went good but there is a problem. It seems like the passenger side is slightly lower in the front. The numbers on the shocks were 18's in the front and 58's in the rear. I took out 14's and 56's out of my sport. I did get a bit of a lift. The Jeep drives ok but is lower on the passenger side. Did I do something wrong? Do I need to get an alignment done? My steering wheel seems to be a bit off as well. HELP!!!

Thanks

So I need to go get a 19 shock for the passenger side?

Did you loosen all of your control arms and both track bars, shake the shit out of the Jeep, and then retorque them all? If you just installed taller springs without loosening everything up, you might have the rubber bushings on the control arms binding up on you. If that is the case, then you definitely want to go back and address it or it will destroy your bushings.

I have heard of higher coil number being stock on the passenger side to account for the weight of the gas tank. I think you need to put a tape measure up to your wheel wells and see how much we are talking about.

Did you put the factory isolaters back on when changed out the coils?

Yes I did. Not sure why that side sits 1/4" lower.

Check the coils to make sure you have the higher number on the passenger side. Also make sure the coils are properly seated. There is a stop that the coil rests against on the bottom side. You can also make sure the coil is fully seated in the spacer on the top.

Good luck!

FWIW, both my 08 and my 11 JKU sat a bit lower on the passenger side. The spring numbers were the same on both sides, for both Jeeps. Even after swapping out my fronts on my brand new 11 for higher rated Rubi springs off a brand new JKU rubi I still sit a bit lower on the passenger side.
