Default Shocks

Guys iv got a 3" teraflex lift kit

and im thinking about changing just the shocks, and getting something heavy duty, i mean something i could jump of a sand dune with but still drive comfortablly on a daily basis.

Any Ideas?

Might wanna think about reinforcing more than your shocks if your gonna be jumping your JK. Shock mounts, axle trusses,c-gussets, spring retainers, frame reinforcements, reinforced trk bar mounts, and a full roll cage just to name a few things off the top of my head. Sand maybe soft, but I don't think a JK with a TF suspension only, is going to be unproblamatic if your gonna do it regularly. The guys at Off-Road Evolution could probably give you a better insight to what you need to do for jumping a JK.

Thumbs up

i dont do jumps that regularly but sometimes i get that urge

still, i dont really have any issues with the shocks except that up until now iv blown two shocks as it is and i have a feeling the third is on the way.

but i just cant say no to a really sweet jump

i will consider your points for the near future but right now i really need some HD Shocks, preferably adjustables if thats possible, any ideas?

Possibly Walker Evans or Fox shocks would be your best bet, they're more expensive but may be more of what your looking for.

I know that the Walker Evans run in the $150-$300 range each, not sure about Fox though.
