Default Shocks!

Need to purchase some new shocks and wanted to see what others are running and recommend. I have a 4" lift currently.

What size tire? What length bump stops? What driving preferences? All important factors....

King, SAW, Fox...all make rebuildable shocks that allow you to change the valving.

Lots of good reviews for OME if you are not going to coil-overs or Metal Cloaks.

I'm running 35's and do mostly city/highway driving. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg but want a decent shock. Thinkin around $400 or so.

Good choice here or our adjustable 9000's. Either will fit your budget nicely...

Pretty easy. If you have stock shocks and a older jeep the front uppers may give you grief. Load up with PB blaster before removing. Pretty good chance the bolt will snap right off.

If installing the 7000's. leave the rear strap on and make sure the lower factory mount is open wide enough for the shock bushing. Install uppers and cut the strap. Guide the shock into the mount..... Don't miss, trust me lol

That's all I got

So DEAD on!
Totally dealt with the rear as well... one side took me 45+ minutes. I cut the strap early and was like "I shoot.", but different. I learned me lesson after that!
