Can you put shocks for a 4" lift on a jeep with a 2-1/2" lift?

Sorry I forgot to mention the lift is a skyjacker 2-1/2" budget boost with pucks not coils.

I have 4-5" lift bilstein shocks on a 3" lift. Measure the actual compressed distance between bolt holes on the rig, then get shocks that compress just shorter so they won't bottom. It all depends on the bumpstops. You can get specs on shock mfr websites.

I cannot believe the ride difference between the M95's and the stock shocks with extensions. It is night and day.

I put shocks that were for a 6" lift on a 2.5" BB, all I had to do is add 1/2" bump stop from keeping the shock from bottoming out. I'm trying to find more feed back from everyone who has the m95 I just bought some can't wait to put them on
