Default shock extensions or shocks needed?

2011 4 dr unlimited. If I go with the teraflex leveling kit, the one that has spacers 2" for front, 1" for rear. Will I need to purchase either shocks or extensions?

Short answer is no.

However, I am experimenting with this right now. Should allow a little extra flex.

I believe anything 2" and under does not require extensions. Quadratec.com is pretty good with giving details on what is required. I know that the 2.5" Terraflex does require the extensions or new shocks.

One thing to keep in mind is that you change the feel of the ride by replacing shocks instead of using extensions. If you wish to keep the ride as similar to how it is now then use extensions...if you must at all.
