Default Shock Bar Pin Break!

Well was driving home yesterday from work and heard something dragging pulled over look under and rear shock was dragging due to the bar pin breaking called superlift and they told they would just replace the bar pin but being that that part is a weak part I asked if there were any stronger types and of course he said that all the shocks for my JK used the same type of bar pin has anybody ran in to this problem and if so any fixes?

What?! Were you just driving around like normal when it broke or were you wheeling really hard? Sorry, but even though the bar pin isn't exactly the best design in the world, it should just break because it's "a weak part". Typically, things like bar pins or shock mounts break because your shocks are too long for your application and they are bottoming out.

The factory mounts are junk.......replace them with some JKS mounts.......much stronger than that factory Jeep crap.

The downside to these is that the basicall drop the mount an inch lower than factory so your shock may or may not still work.
