12 rubi on an aev 3.5 lift with 35s. No body lift.

Every once in a while when I go from 4 lo to 2wd and then into drive my trans acts like it is only half way in gear. Revs hi barely.moves.

If I wait about 1 min or shift thru the range.of gears it goes back to normal. Now today doing tight turns going between drive and rev it would act.like it was in neutral. If I ran the shifter again it stopped being silly.

Is there an issue with the factory shifter that I don't know about?

 

It could be your linkage. Its a bad design its a piece of plastic. And if its broke itll act up

 

I've had the same problem once in awhile. Dealer hasn't heard of this problem. I've seen it posted on several forums. 2012 Rubicon auto
